Change of display for Nintendo Switch OLED
You may need to exchange (replace) the display on your Nintendo Switch if you notice any of the following signs:
- Visible Damage: Cracked, scratched, or shattered glass, or obvious marks and spots on the screen.
- Display Issues: The screen shows lines, colored bands, or a distorted picture, or the display is blank even though you can hear sounds from the console.
- Touchscreen Malfunction: The touchscreen does not respond to touches or responds incorrectly.
- Leaking or Dead Areas: Parts of the screen are black, leaking, or show discoloration, or there are dead pixels or large areas that do not display images.
- Image Artifacts: The screen has unusual effects such as green tints, artifacting, or other color abnormalities, especially noticeable in dark scenes or with certain colors.
- Physical Wear or Delamination: The screen appears to be peeling, delaminating, or has spots from oxidation (common in OLED models after impacts).
If your Switch screen shows any of these problems—especially after an accident or drop—you should consider replacing the display.
